Our activities include:
• quality-assured, needs-oriented care and support of elderly people and people in need of care
• professional support and advice for relatives and volunteers, and the creation of communication platforms for the open exchange of experiences
• cooperation with local authorities in the further development of care infrastructures
• political engagement for a significant improvement in the framework conditions of care

Our employees profit from the highest staffing ratio in Germany, fair payment in accordance with the Diakonie pay scale, job security and individual prospects. We were founded in 1952 and are a member of the Diakonisches Werk.

Social innovation is our response to societal challenges. As quality-conscious and innovative long-term care provider, we align our services with the needs of elderly people and those in need of care and assistance. The common goal of all our employees is to enable these people to shape their own lives for as long as possible. In this context, we strive to continuously develop our care arrangements and pursue an active innovation management, especially in the areas of digitalization, neighbourhood development and ecological sustainability.

The Evangelische Heimstiftung is a diaconal organisation. Our diaconal profile reflects our values and creates the basis and motivation for our actions. In our care facilities, we offer joint church services and celebrate traditional church festivities. At the same time, we are open to people, customers and employees of different cultural and religious backgrounds and aim to develop our diaconal work in a multi-religious context.
